Having watched the first season of their web series I took it upon myself to watch the movie.
Now - the good news - it's all good news - you don't need the web series to enjoy or get the movie. The next good news is that they have made a wildly entertaining film, with ridiculous turns and curves nobody could have seen coming.
And they're Canadian.
I'd 10/10 recommend.
