Canada, other than CBC, really doesn't have a national media landscape.

It's a plug for CBC, which - as much as I'm not-so-much a fan, is still the best we have. No wonder the Conservatives want to shut it down.

Now - this puts in perspective the reprehensible comments by Brian Passifiume from the Toronto Sun:

Our media is not our own, it's controlled by a very few American billionaires pushing Trump's agenda. Cancel all American owned media, support local journalism, and if you live in Ottawa maybe please inform Bryan Passifiume that the far right might deserve a few bullets as well.

Oh, and if you live in Calgary, their local equivalent is "Rick Bell", who frames the actions of Danielle Smith as that of a leader and not an orange-knob-gobbling-goblin of the Fourth Reich. 

Enough is enough, we need to retake control of our nation and narrative. Conrad Black's conviction; and then subsequent pardon, should be assurance enough of his complicity. Cancel any subscriptions to the above-listed newspapers, and check to see any new subscriptions you acquire are not in any ways American owned or influenced. And if you live near any of these rage-bait columnists maybe stop by with an "eh, brought you a Tim Hortons" and reeducate them as to our values.

The News Cycle; this timeline, it's making me crazy. 

The "No Kings" protests, these should be on a work-day. the government shuts down, so does the workforce, make the companies pay, that will put the pressure on.

King Trump flying a jet and dumping shit on the protestors and all the AI Billboards are in Russian, ah, the insanity of the times we live in.

The Epstein Files, redacted, non, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the Freudian slips of his Merrily Widowed Wife, the Israeli conspiracy, The genocide in Palestine and don’t you dare be Antisemetic, Putin in Ukraine, Targeting Venezuelan “drug boats”, the "double taps"; The “President of Peace” and “Department of War”, the ambassador to Greenland with his mission of “We Come In Peace”, read that in the voice of the children from “Iron Sky”, the promise to invade Greenland, the Christmas calls with his wife - Melania, Zuckerberg, Peter Miller, Peter Thiel, Musk, The Outrage Farms, the consolidation of stupidity and national wealth into a few hands, the lies, denials, threats without end, ICE, Democrats, the complete and utter outrage that is every daily news, judges won’t convict, treason, blackmail, profiteer, Kidnapping of Venezuelan president, the threats towards Columbia, Mexico, Cuba, Greenland, Canada, this is no slight insanity; The premeditated murder of innocent Renee Nicole Good, a calculated move by Trump to invoke the insurrection act, his subsequent argument that it was “self defence” and the officer was in hospital (no, his name was Jonathan E Ross and he was photographed laughing after the ‘hit’ for want of better expression), Kristi Noem, the MAGA counter protesters celebrating the “execution “ of  Renee Nicole Good as a blow to the “lib-tards”, the inevitable invasion of Greenland and then Canada, the fact - that had Biden stepped up when Russia started with Ukraine, had he stationed troops along their border for “exercises” along with the NATO troops this would none of it have ever happened. The harping on the Epstein Files, well, at this point for the MAGA folks they just want to Like and Subscribe and watch videos of their beloved orange leader molesting children.

His pardoning of convicted drug traffickers, con men, pardons for sale, to the highest bidder.

This is who they are. You know now, there is nothing so vile they would not endorse.

And his supporters, well, you all know who they are, what they are, and - sorry, it's gotta be done.

His “imitations” of people he doesn’t like, that include Somalians, Mexicans, disabled people, Educated People, the MAGA idiots that support him, Europeans, everyone in fact. He doesn’t like reporters and baits them with “Here Piggy”. He doesn’t love Jesus, doesn’t love his kids or his wife and he sure in the fuck doesn’t like you. And he sure in the hell doesn’t like consequences, but he’s never faced them, has he?

Donald J. Trump doesn’t like you, the Americans, even the ones that didn’t elect him. And I have to wonder, don’t you have something to do? Why are you all on vacation up here? Isn’t there some “Call of Duty”? Shouldn’t millions of you by now be rallying and massing in Washington; tearing down the “New Ballroom”, shouldn’t you be assembling militias and planning to exercise your second amendment rights?

It’s time you know. It’s not going to get any better. Does no one down there have a plan?

I’m glad you’re here, you’re polite, good tippers and all, but you’re making me nervous.

Stephen Miller has a plan. He’s told everyone. So has Donald, and all this posturing is foreshadowing a long decade of war unless you get off your asses and do something. Sure, you’ll occupy Greenland, and be about as well received as the Nazi’s were in Paris. And you’ll occupy Canada with the same success.

What of the military? They’ve been awfully good about obeying illegal orders. Are they so far gone now they’ll fire on their own brothers, sisters, parents?

America, you have a problem, and you Americans, all of you, you’re making me nervous. The whole world in fact. You’re going to invade Cuba, Columbia, Mexico, well - good luck with that, the cartels down there will very quickly show you what war looks like, and hopefully grow their business on your soil.

By the by - how many wars have you won lately? Korea? Vietnam? Was Iraq a win? Afghanistan?

Greenland - by no later than the end of February. Donald Trump needs a war. He’s said it. If there’s an election he will be impeached. He doesn’t want to be impeached.

What can we do? Well, first - we - Canada, and all of NATO - Americans out. Now. If you’re duel-citizen, make the choice. Now. Or leave. 48 hours, all Americans back on American Soil. Freeze all American assets abroad. Boycott American products.

NATO should be meeting and discussing their plan. And Mark Carney should be reaching out to the Governors of California, Oregon, Washington, and Minnesota, New York, the “Blue States”. They all joined the Union, they can vote to leave it.

When MAGA finally has what’s theirs it won’t be very much. 

But the news, it's making me crazy, the "speculations" on what are clearly premeditated hostile acts towards his own people (if murder is hostile, I don't know anymore we've become so hyper-normalized to this shit) and other countries. 

The blase reportage because no-one cares to offend the orange melon. 

You argue you're waiting for the elections in November, then you'll show him. But you know - at this pace - there will be no November elections, and if there are it will be the same goons acting as ICE agents protecting the "validity" of the polling stations.

So, hey, can you please hurry things up, get on it; get your shit in a pile and deal with him. And the rest of them as well. If you're uncertain as to how to proceed please watch a few of the Nuremberg trials and realize that every ICE agent; over half the cops and almost all of your politicians and billionaires are worthy candidates. 

(I don't credit Trump with any ability to premeditate anything, but I do credit Miller, Thiel, Zuckerberg)

Now my web-rounds have mostly consisted of doom-scrolling reddit and the news, which is no way to achieve mental health. Especially given the news as of late...

You know what I mean.
