I'm in a posh bar serving Sam Elliot. He's at the bar, holding up his pint glass, tapping it meaningfully, he wants another half pint, there's a white line marking where it should be filled to...
It's a beautiful bar, hundreds of beer taps hang from the ceiling, I haven't a clue as to what he was drinking, I'm new here, don't know if I'm allowed to pour for the customers, don't know if I'm to ring it in, I'm off to look for the bartender...
It's a gala of sorts, everyone is fashionably dressed, the servers as well, socializing with the customers, I'm the only one dressed as a bartender or waiter, I can't find the bartender, I don't seem to know the rules, find my way past the throngs of socializing servers and customers back to the bar with the hundreds of beer taps, the bartender has returned, he's annoyed with me, I was supposed to give him his drink, supposed to ring it in, I don't know what I'm doing here, it's a nice place but I'm pretty sure I won't last...

They looked familiar, on the ferry from the East Shore, took their picture, took a few more. Bikers on vacation.
And, sure enough, in the pub, they tip exorbitantly - any tip from bikers, better than 10%, is rare, he's leaving me 7$ on 2 beer, so maybe he recognizes me as well. The rest of their party ponies up as well, I'd like to imagine that they don't recognize me, preserve my anonymity, but they probably do. Reciprocity. Small good deeds pay great dividends, I should ride the ferry every day...
They're from Drumheller...and so I enquire (I have to) if they know so-and-so...they don't, doesn't ring a bell, we chat, oddly enough I miss the place, look forward to a couple of visits in September and October, fossicking, find some dino-skulls and bones, other treasures...

There are a few of these I've found throughout the city. This was one, a shop on Vernon, you'd pass it by every day of the week if it weren't for the signage, handbill outside, even then hard to notice...
up a cramped stairwell & hall, a couple of adjacent rooms, the indifferent proprietor working in one, I peruse the museum. I say museum because very little is for sale, most is on display simply to be marveled at, photos shared below:

Everything from fossils, skulls, bones, antiquities, very little for sale (that's ok, very little of real value, but a curious room nonetheless...)
