A new vegan cafe opened kitty-corner to Oso Negro, have been a couple of times.
Surprisingly good and hearty. Reasonably priced - $15.00 for a sandwich/wrap and side - (or thereabouts) - good and nourishing.
While I refuse to give up meat (I've done that before) - I accept that eating a lot less meat is a good thing. And they do make the alternatives tasty....

Up early and making the drive - it's the only garage sale this weekend, a promising description and it rewards me well. A Yamaha guitar, excellent condition, with stand, case and guitar books. $50.00. An antique New Haven Gingerbread Mantle Clock, $40, approx. 115, 120 years old. I have yet to see if it's working, it doesn't matter, it's a beautiful thing and I'd be happy to scavenge the parts. Various other trifles, art supplies, mixed media, a buckskin fringed coat, vintage, well loved, - $10.00 - passed on to the daughter (it suits her, and the Kootenay Life).

Now it's largely intact, most specimens in their proper place - I could use something similar, but - I'm building my own. So this is something I give to Chris at work, with the caveat that he turn over the cache of Rolexes and Omega's his mother was supposed to find at an Estate Sale in Ottawa.

A common assertation by anti-vaxxers, that they're put at risk by being in the presence of vaccinated people due to "shedding" - vaccinated people "shedding" the virus.
Nevermind most anti-vaxxers will assure you that the virus doesn't exist, or that if it does it can't harm you if you're healthy, or it's a microchip, will make you magnetic, charge you with the 5G, etc, etc. So much bullshit.
Anyways, here's the scoop on Covid 19 "Shedding" from the CDC website:
Do any of the COVID-19 vaccines authorized for use in the United States shed or release any of their components?
No. Vaccine shedding is the term used to describe the release or discharge of any of the vaccine components in or outside of the body. Vaccine shedding can only occur when a vaccine contains a weakened version of the virus. None of the vaccines authorized for use in the U.S. contain a live virus. mRNA and viral vector vaccines are the two types of currently authorized COVID-19 vaccines available.
So - there you have it. Useful information found, read and digested in under a minute on Google. Which should tell you just how long these anti-vaxxers invested in their research.
