OK, they're not exactly math puzzles, but demonstrate different styles of reasoning, with the associated personality traits.
Here are the questions:
1. A bat and a ball cost $1.10 in total. The bat costs $1.00 more than the ball. How much does the ball cost? ____cents
2. If it takes 5 machines 5 minutes to make 5 widgets, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets? _____minutes
3. In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half of the lake? _____days

Bikers from Drumheller

They looked familiar, on the ferry from the East Shore, took their picture, took a few more. Bikers on vacation.
And, sure enough, in the pub, they tip exorbitantly - any tip from bikers, better than 10%, is rare, he's leaving me 7$ on 2 beer, so maybe he recognizes me as well. The rest of their party ponies up as well, I'd like to imagine that they don't recognize me, preserve my anonymity, but they probably do. Reciprocity. Small good deeds pay great dividends, I should ride the ferry every day...
They're from Drumheller...and so I enquire (I have to) if they know so-and-so...they don't, doesn't ring a bell, we chat, oddly enough I miss the place, look forward to a couple of visits in September and October, fossicking, find some dino-skulls and bones, other treasures...
The Wunderkabinet, or shop filled with curiousities...

There are a few of these I've found throughout the city. This was one, a shop on Vernon, you'd pass it by every day of the week if it weren't for the signage, handbill outside, even then hard to notice...
up a cramped stairwell & hall, a couple of adjacent rooms, the indifferent proprietor working in one, I peruse the museum. I say museum because very little is for sale, most is on display simply to be marveled at, photos shared below:





Everything from fossils, skulls, bones, antiquities, very little for sale (that's ok, very little of real value, but a curious room nonetheless...)

2 shorts, more images than dreams, 1 - that I'm driving around a corner and hit a wall of forest fire smoke, there's a jeep parked on the right, it's taking my spot, in front, marble statuary emerging from the forest fire smoke, a war monument, it's a great photo, I want to stop and take a picture...
#2 - On a peninsula, storm, we're (me and who?) close down to the water, driving, and I want to stop, the storm on the left, dark clouds, on the right the dark slate blue sea filled with color, indigo, sapphire, turquoise blues, it's amazing ...
