Bad enough that you've rented the DVD or you're in the theater and you're forced to watch annoying ads and trailers for movies and products that you'd never, ever want to see or buy.
But when you go to watch a trailer - in this instance Super 8, directed by J.J. Abrams and you're forced to watch an ad. For a trailer.
Undoubtedly it's just me, I must be crazy. On the off chance that this annoys you as much as it annoys me, maybe we could suggest to Hollywood that they simply provide us with the movie we paid for, skip the ads, and maybe the ad-free piracy will relent, just a little. Maybe if they abused us just that little bit less....
Police in NY

And a cyclist gets as annoyed as I would with the Police and takes great pains to make a video illustrating his point.
At which point he discovers that the crime he was ticketed for wasn't, in fact, a crime. And he should have contested the ticket. Mind you, we all should contest our tickets, if only as a matter of principal....

She's late, the salad girl, I didn't think she was working tonight. But she's brought with her an armful of coins to show me, I can't remember the conversation we must have had, old US nickels struck on square plates, "proofs", another that when I turn over I recognize a Philadelphia Shilling, it has the slogan "Go Away" across the top, and I'm asking her about the coins and the logo and she's talking unintelligibly, handing me framed coins and others for me to look at, always the mumbled explanation...
