And I'm puzzling over what to do for the child, something new, out of our box.

There's a few ideas. We've done the gun thing (firing off rounds at the Shooting Edge), seen Kung Fu Panties, now for something completely different....

There's the Kit and Kaboodle Circus, come to town for a few days only. Not sure if it's hopeful or not - let the boy decide.

There's Roller Derby's, which I'd love to attend but I have to work, and so I'll have to see if the boy can line up transportation and a date, I can buy him the tickets...

There's a huge list of films I'd like us to see, OK, not out of the box at all but they look promising: There's Transcendent Man with Ray Kurzweil, a rather curious view of the future. There's Resurrect Dead - a documentary on the Toynbee Tiles, There's Float - the documentary, on a model airplane competitions, and Exporting Raymond (hated the show but the documentary looks much better) and there's Rubber - The Movie

All of which look excellent, the only problem is that none of them have been released in Calgary yet.

This weekend it will probably be the circus. And maybe an afternoon at Lloyds, he's never been but if the website is any indication he'll be well out of his box...
