And this, which follows precisely the formula laid down by shows such as Pawn Stars and Storage Wars, but with characters and merchandise far, far more to my own tastes. Filed under Audio & Podcasts, because I found it online and TV is dead.
Note that the robot guy has his own documentary. More of Michael Sullivan here (via Wired), with clips from his animated movie.

An interesting show on CBC Dispatches on how the un-identified dead found in the Magdelena river of Columbia are being adopted as "Patron Saints" of sorts - Very Louis de Bernieres- evokes his Latin American Trilogy.
Enjoy (short, 14:03 minutes)

2 Links today - the first - Boundoff - describes itself as "A monthly literary audio magazine" -short stories read by (usually) by their authors - note that you have to pay attention otherwise you'll just end up shaking your head and going "WTF??". Note that it's enjoyable, but as they are readings they sometimes lack the spontaneity and charm of The Moth Podcasts.
And the second - Open Culture - "The Best Cultural & Educational Media on the Web" - offers a variety of media from free movies, podcasts, ideas, etc.
Both will keep you busy for a while.

A brilliant interview with the "World's highest IQ" - Rick Rosner, this is strangely compelling viewing. It demonstrates the total disconnect between measured intelligence and achievement, personality, vocabulary, or anything else for that matter. Were you not told or otherwise aware of Rick's prodigious mental capacities, you would never guess from the hour long interview. You can view the rest of the documentary/interview here. Note things like the directors use of disconnected puzzle pieces, the obviously transplanted hair, and heed the warnings that "Intelligence isn't everything". In it's own way, a curious bookend to his more successful cousin, Karl Pilkington.
