A woodcutter, priest and a commoner gather beneath the decaying city gate to seek shelter from the rain. While sheltering they share conflicting stories of a heinous crime they are all somehow tied to, and every story contradicts the other. Slowly tearing down the walls to feed the fire they each arrive at very different understandings of their own and each others nature.
