The daughters idea, and so we head out to Drumheller, a better trip than the last.

The weather warm, we walk a half hour back into the canyons before beginning to explore. A few small pieces of bone, nothing to get excited about, then - after a couple of hours - the daughter turns up this:

Look above her forefinger, it looks like just another piece of bone - until - "look closer" she tells me...

Serrated, an inch long raptor tooth. One of the best finds yet, I've found bits of raptor teeth, but none as large or complete as this...

She finds a few other teeth fragments, most small, under a centimeter - my eyes are done, looking at the ground trying to spot teeth fragments is a bit detail oriented for me, I need to up my eyeglass prescription...

My own find of the day? Well, nothing comparatively but a small - meaning a centimeter or so in diameter - vertebrae:
