...slept on the floor last night, bed dismantled, remarkably comfortable. The bed, a necessary convention, a prop to a non-existent social life, the bed, to the locker, I'll keep the floor...
Today, perhaps 2 or three final trips to the locker, then the massive cleaning of the apartment, not so massive, but I've been lethargic all week, postponing, procrastinating, doing as little as possible, and today is the day of reckoning, laundry, cleaning, etc. This freedom takes some getting used to, and the impending move puts a damper on all creative outlets.
The blog, naturally, will suffer until I discover a place to live, give me a week or two and it should resume...

...that my Uncle M*** and P** (both estranged) are in a white room, working on little dioramas, "Bow Tie Whales" they explain to me, and I can't understand, looking at what they've done, "Bow Whales? about 100 feet long" I ask, and they agree...
Now, in a submarine, following, harvesting, a diminishing school of fish, herded for us by the bow whales, time to surface, turn back, I suggest, there's an Asian woman, older, working the periscope, and she tells me that we are short our quota of 5 Bow Tie whales by - exactly - 5 Bow Tie whales, but I'm the captain and we can turn back if I insist...

Finally something that doesn't adhere to the American cultural narrative, worthwhile...

In a Stadium, or perhaps on the edges of a walled city, there's an older guy, late 20's, maybe early thirties, a skateboarder and magician, he's running around all charming, we're in a stairwell, it turn's out he's the boys brother...
...I look at K****, the boy's mother, she doesn't want to discuss it, then relents and explains to me that a few years before we met, in Montreal,...anyways, she doesn't like this child, though he seems well adjusted enough...
We're in the wall, around the city or the stadium, and the newfound brother takes off, he's got to do a show or something, and the boy and I are both perplexed, there are a lot of questions to be sure...
(remembered this a few hours after I woke, details are missing, peculiar dream...)
